MultiChoice Zambia gives nominees a “Zambia Ku Chalo” send off

Six Zambian filmmakers and producers have been nominated for the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCAs), set to take place in Lagos, Nigeria, on May 11th, 2024. MultiChoice Zambia congratulates these nominees and wishes them the best for the awards ceremony. Managing Director Leah Kooma expressed pride in the impactful storytelling showcased on Zambezi Magic, resonating with audiences across the continent.

At a send-off event hosted by MultiChoice Zambia, nominees expressed gratitude for the support provided to Zambian creatives. Mutale Mwanza, nominated for "Mutale Mwanza Unscripted Season 1," thanked MultiChoice for sharing a platform for storytelling and emphasized that a win for one is a win for Zambia. Nancy Handabile's "Date My Family Zambia" and Mercy Mukwiza's involvement in "Royal Clique" also received nominations.

Henry BJ Phiri, known as Limbani on "Uncle Limbani," appreciated both the government and MultiChoice for fostering an environment conducive to the growth of the film industry. Producer Paul Wilo and MTF Alumnus Julius Museteka expressed gratitude to MultiChoice for enriching their lives.

The AMVCAs will be held at the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Highlights will be broadcast live on All Magic Channels on GOtv with the Red Carpet starting at 17:00  and the main Award Gala Night at 20:00
