The first action on ESPN arrives on the morning of Friday 21 June, as Carlton host Geelong for an Australian Football League (AFL) clash (11:40 LIVE on ESPN), while the evening brings a regular season game from Major League Baseball (MLB), as the New York Mets visit the Chicago Cubs (20:20 LIVE on ESPN).

The late morning of Saturday 22 June brings more thrills and spills from the AFL, as Melbourne and North Melbourne resume their rivalry (11:30 LIVE on ESPN), while the morning of Sunday 23 June is all about Major League Soccer (MLS), with the Columbus Crew and the Seattle Sounders hosting Sporting Kansas City and FC Dallas respectively (01:30 and 04:30 LIVE on ESPN), which is followed by another AFL battle between Fremantle and Gold Coast (08:00 LIVE on ESPN).

Sounders coach Brian Schmetzer has admitted that he doesn't full put his faith in data when it comes to preparing his team: "The whole idea behind using data to make better decisions is still within the club. It's firmly embedded, it's everything that we do, from training sessions to monitoring injuries and player signings, all of that. That's still there,” he explained.

“[But] I've never been all data-driven. I'm maybe the counterbalance to the data, because I go by feeling. It's a sport. Sports is emotion, sports is mentality, sports is players that get thrust into situations where they have to sometimes adapt and improvise and be better than the guy they're playing against at any given moment."

The early evening of Monday 24 to Thursday 27 June will feature 'The Pat McAfee Show' (18:00 LIVE on ESPN), in which former National Football League (NFL) punter Pat McAfee and his friends give light-hearted takes on the latest sporting news from around the world.

ESPN 2 gets off to a thrilling start with a National Rugby League (NRL) game at midday on Friday 21 June, pitting the Dolphins against the Storm (12:00 LIVE on ESPN 2), while the late evening of the same day brings lightweight and light heavyweight bouts from PFL (Professional Fighters League) 5 in Salt Lake City (23:00 LIVE on ESPN 2).

The morning of Saturday 22 June features more NRL action, with the Bulldogs visiting the Roosters (09:30 LIVE on ESPN 2), while the evening of the same day sees the Pittsburgh Pirates battle the Tampa Bay Rays in a Major League Baseball (MLB) game (22:05 LIVE on ESPN 2).

The morning of Sunday 23 June brings football from Major League Soccer (MLS), as Real Salt Lake welcome the Los Angeles Galaxy to Utah (03:30 LIVE on ESPN 2), before the Wests Tigers tackle the Raiders in more NRL action (08:05 LIVE on ESPN 2).

The midweek of Wednesday 26 June features an evening clash from Major League Baseball (MLB) between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Texas Rangers (20:10 LIVE on ESPN 2). Rangers manager Bruce Bochy hopes to see his team rediscover its identity after a difficult last few weeks.

"We need to get that (swagger) back," Bochy said of the defending World Series champs. "Everything has to do with success. When guys aren't doing what they are used to doing, you have to remind them how good they are. It can get away from you. This game can humble you. We've not quite played up to our standards. The offence wasn't up to our standards. It left us for a little bit."
